THE GOODS DEPT• is a curated department store based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Developed in 2010 by the founders of Brightspot Market, the unique and multidimensional retail environment quickly became the hub for alternative fashion and lifestyle products from young, independent Indonesian designers and a selection of international brands. Our stores features rotating events such as art exhibitions and film screenings, and also houses The Goods Café•

Our brick and mortar store occupies a 750 square meter space, centered in the heart of Jakarta.
Pondok Indah Mall 2
Our second physical store is in a 1,000 square meter in Pondok Indah Mall, South Jakarta. The store is decorated with mezzanine, it is a two-story store with a capacity of 1000 square meters and it houses a To-Go cake corner
Lotte Shopping Avenue
THE GOODS DEPT• in Lotte Shopping Avenue features wide selection of products from both local and international brands that are exclusive to this location. Almost half of the space is dedicated to THE GOODS CAFE•, making it their biggest one yet, occupy nearly 1000 square meters of space.
The Goods Café• & The Goods Diner•
THE GOODS CAFÉ• is a casual eatery attached to our retail locations. Chef Erlene Susanto set out to bring the relaxed vibe of the American west coast to our tables. She has created an eclectic menu inspired by California’s melting-pot-style comfort food, with influences from Western, Asian and Mexican staples. In January 2012, we opened The Goods Diner•, a standalone restaurant and bar in the legendary Fairgrounds building (former Bengkel Night Park).
Brightspot Market was founded in early 2009 with the goal of showcasing young, independent fashion and product designers along side unique retailers and international streetwear brands. The four-day market is held twice a year in different locations around Jakarta. Started in a time when interest in local (Indonesian) brands was nearly non-existent, Brightspot has now become THE platform for creative entrepreneurs to launch their brands.
Our first event drew an audience of just over 5000 visitors, and has now grown to 57,000 at our last event in June 2012. In the span of a few years, Brightspot has gone from being a market of all things cool to a full-blown cultural phenomenon.
