Since its birth in the 1970s, the user-friendly "452" has maintained the concept of "simple, lightweight, durable, and affordable." It is the original that all daypack manufacturers emulate.

The basic design has remained almost unchanged since then, and the minimalist design has been simplified by minimizing the number of parts, making it easy to use and reasonably priced for heavy use.
